Lightbits Metrics
This documentation details the metrics exported by lightbox-exporter.
A metrics family is a group of metrics that are exposed by a single collector on every scrape.
Metrics families include, for example:
- Clustering - Collecting information on Lightbits resources.
- duroslight - Exposing information from the Duroslight service (Lightbits FE).
- smart - Exposing disk smart statistics.

The lightbox-exporter service is currently rate limited to support up to two concurrent scrapers. Lightbits recommends that at most, only up to two scrape utilities (e.g., Prometheus) should be scraped from each server.
When connecting more than two scrapers, it is possible that in some scrapes, windows of times of some of the metrics will not be returned when the rate limit was activated.
When the rate limit is activated, the following metric will have a 0 value: lightbox_scrape_collector_success.
