  • lbcli set: Sets parameters for resource of type: [trusted-host-secrets].
  • lbcli login: Logs in to the Lightbits cluster using the IdP server (Beta).
  • lbcli logout: Logs out of the Lightbits cluster (Beta).
  • lbcli create auth-map-entry Creates an auth-group-access object to map an identity provider (IdP) to the Lightbits authentication engine Scope and Role. Note that this feature is not readily available and offers only limited support for evaluation purposes.
  • lbcli create idp-configuration Creates an idp-configuration. Note that this feature is not readily available and offers only limited support for evaluation purposes.
  • lbcli create trusted-host Creates a trusted host resource with configuration parameters needed for authentication and NVMe connectivity, Note that this feature is under development and available for evaluative purposes only.
  • lbcli enable feature-flag cluster-encryption Enables the use of the cluster-encryption feature. Note that this does not initiate the encryption process.
  • lbcli enable federated-authentication Enables the federated-authentication functionality.
  • lbcli enable in-band-auth Enables NVMe-of In-Band Authentication, allowing a Lightbits cluster to selectively restrict the set of NVMe hosts (clients) allowed to connect to the NVMe target (Lightbits cluster). Note that this functionality and its APIs are under development and available for evaluative purposes only.

  • lbcli update volume: Added new details on additional volume properties for the command.
  • lbcli fetch logs: Added additional information to this command, including the ability to gather 30 days of logs and new statistics capturing capabilities.

  • lbcli fetch logs: New skip-statistics flag added to fetch log, which skips fetching statistics.

  • lbcli create server: New --extend-cluster flag added, which extends a cluster with a new server and its resources, enabling new volume placement on the server.
  • lbcli delete server: New --force-delete flag added, which forces deletion even if a server has resources on it (with certain conditions).
  • New evict-data functionality added for migrating a server's resources (e.g. volumes, snapshots) to other servers within a cluster. Note: This is currently a technology preview and should not be used in production. See lbcli disable feature-flag evict-data (Technology Preview) for additional information.

  • lbcli fetch logs: The default timeout for the command has increased. The command-timeout flag can be used to overwrite the value.
  • New command line option: --local-timezone. When passed, lbcli will print human-readable timestamps for events and upgrades in the local timezone rather than UTC.
