Support for installing Lightbits nodes on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Alma Linux 8, with kernel versions:

• 4.18.0-477.13.1

• 4.18.0-372.9.1

Notes:

1. Other kernel versions on RHEL/Alma 8 are not supported.

2. When upgrading an existing Lightbits deployment on an older RHEL kernel, the Linux kernel must be upgraded first and without rebooting the server. Lightbits software should then be upgraded to v3.3.1, which will reboot and load Lightbits over the new kernel.
