Troubleshooting Deployment Failures
Deployment could fail due to various reasons, such as:
- Incorrect parameters input
- Insufficient account permissions to deploy managed applications (Managed Application Contributor Role)
- Non-available resources on Azure region
- Issues with Subscription Quota limits
- Miscellaneous errors.
To get Lightbits support for deployment failures, it is suggested to collect:
Deployment input and output configuration
- Go to Managed App Resource > Parameters and Outputs menu.
- Add screenshots of the parameters and outputs to the ticket.
- Go to Managed App Resource > Properties.
- Add the parameter json file to the ticket.
Region - to determine the Region where the cluster was deployed in.
Error message - screenshots or copy/paste of root stack > Parameters tabs.
- Option #1: In the deployment screen, click the error details, copy the details, and add them to the ticket.
- Option #2: Go to the managed application, and click Managed Resource Group > Deployments menu.
- On your screen, you will see the resources that failed to create.
- Click the error details, copy the details, and add them to the ticket.
