Release 3.8.2

This is a maintenance release for the v3.8.1 release. Please refer to the Lightbits Known Issues document for additional information.

Release Date

v3.8.2 was released to the public on May 22, 2024.

This release introduces the following changes since version 3.8.1:

azure: In rare cases, the Azure managed app could fail to deploy due to the Azure metadata service not being responsive, although a second deployment attempt would usually succeed. This release adds a deployment mechanism that is robust to transient failures, including multiple retries to make sure deployment always succeeds.
userlbe: Fixed a possible race between the exporter accessing some metrics and volume deletion. This race, when hit, could cause a Lightbits node to stop serving I/Os.

You can upgrade to this release from all previous Lightbits v3.6.x, v3.7.x releases - or from 3.8.1.
