Lightbits Cluster - Azure VMware Solution

Lightbits can integrate with AVS (Azure VMware Solution), so AVS ESXi hosts can run datastores that are based on Lightbits volumes. There is a command line interface called LB AVS that is an integration between the Lightbits cluster and the AVS Run command.

For example, if you need to create a datastore on an ESXi server, you can run the create datastore command, which creates the volume on the Lightbits cluster on one side and the datastore on the ESXi side.

In order for AVS clients to connect to the volume on the Lightbits cluster, you will need to deploy an Ultra ExpressRoute Gateway on the Vnet to the AVS ExpressRoute Circuit. It is recommended to run with Ultra in order to achieve maximum performance and minimum latency to the storage cluster. Deploying a performance or standard SKU ExpressRoute Gateway will impact the latency to the storage cluster.
