lbcli set throttling io

Sets cluster I/O bandwidth throttling and priority.

Synopsis

Sets cluster I/O throttling limits for rebuild and rebalance traffic, and the priority between background (rebuild/rebalance) and foreground (user) I/O. Bandwidth limits accept a plain number (interpreted as MiB) or a value with a MiB/GiB suffix (e.g. 512MiB, 2GiB). Only the flags supplied on the command line are changed; any unspecified values retain their current setting.

lbcli set throttling io [flags]

Examples

# Set the rebalance TX/RX bandwidth limits (per instance, applied cluster-wide).
lbcli -J $JWT set throttling io --rebalanceTxLimit 2GiB --rebalanceRxLimit 2GiB

# Set the rebuild TX/RX bandwidth limits.
lbcli -J $JWT set throttling io --rebuildTxLimit 4GiB --rebuildRxLimit 2GiB

# Set the priority between background (rebuild/rebalance) and foreground (user) I/O.
lbcli -J $JWT set throttling io --priority foreground
lbcli -J $JWT set throttling io --priority background
lbcli -J $JWT set throttling io --priority balanced
