icmcli cancel workflow

AI Tools

Cancels a running thick-clone workflow.

Synopsis

Cancels a running thick-clone workflow. Cancellation asks the workflow to roll back, which normally removes the destination volume or snapshot it created. Cleanup is not guaranteed: once the destination artifact is final, a failing cleanup step does not unwind it, so check for a leftover volume or snapshot if cancellation reports an error.

Only thick-clone workflows can be cancelled here. Cancelling a workflow of any other type (for example an attach-cluster workflow) is rejected, and an unknown workflow ID reports not found.
