Lightbits Cluster Software Installation Process
The process of installing Lightbits products includes the installation of Lightbits software on the storage server. It can also include the installation of a new kernel on the client if the client’s kernel version is less than v5.3.5.
The following chart summarizes the steps for completing the Lightbits cluster software installation and required actions on the clients.
Lightbits recommends that you complete each of these steps in the order that they are written to ensure a successful software installation and connection between the Lightbits Storage Server and the clients.
To complete the installation process, you must have the Lightbits Installation - Customer Addendum that was sent to you by Lightbits. The customer addendum contains customer-specific information and is referred to throughout the installation procedure.
